Here at Dog Lover Store, we offer custom painted dog figurines. Customers are able to upload photos of their dog, select the figurine that most looks like their dog, and the artist here at Dog Lover Store custom paints the figurine to match the photos that our customers submit.
This is a custom painted Jack Russell Terrier figurine. We thought that this custom painted figurine was extra special because of the adorable heart shape that was on the back of this dog. Below, you can view the photo that our customer submitted of their Jack Russell Terrier. You can clearly see the heart shape on the back. This feature was important to our customer so we were sure to include it. Often, dogs have signature markings or features that are memorable to their owners. Many customers buy these custom painted figurines once their dog has passed. Capturing these unique markings is important when remembering and honoring a loved one.
Our figurines come pre-painted from the manufacturer so we paint over the standard paint job when we custom paint the figurines. If you look at the photo of how the standard figurine comes from the manufacturer, you will see that the brown coloring is a bit lighter and the markings on the face and body are different. Although they are just slight differences, they are significant enough to be customized.
This cutie did not have any markings on her underbelly so we painted the belly a bright white to match the rest of the coat. We added the heart on the back, brown near the tail, and also added more white to her face. Small changes make a big difference.
We have customers review the figurines so they can approve them before we apply a protective sealer and ship them out. More often than not, we have customers send back replies stating that they were brought to tears when they saw the figurine. When they are tears of joy, we know we nailed it!
