The Afghan Hound is a sight-hound breed. They are considered one of the toughest breeds to train. They are bred to hunt hares wolves, and the like. They prefer to hunt alone and are not considered a pack dog. They were bred in Afghanistan and found it's way to Britain when soldiers returned from the Afghan war. The Afghan has a long flowing coat that is found in nearly any color. The most common colors are black/white and tan/white. Afghan hound gifts are difficult to source. The breed is not considered a popular breed. All Afghan Hound items and accessories are available in black/white as well as tan/white. Our keychains are made of solid pewter in the USA.
